About Ventura

San Buenaventura, “The City of Good Fortune,” was incorporated 150 years ago after being founded by Father Juniper Serra, one of the historic California missions. Today, there are 109,000 residents in Ventura and its natural setting located between the Pacific Ocean, two rivers and rolling hills makes quality of life second to none. In fact, over the next 10-15 years, Seniors from all parts of California and the Nation itself plan to settle in this Coastal town with numbers in this population expected to double in that time period.
